Sara Rockhold
"Patient, detail-focused, and on a mission to get Hawaii line dancing."
Sara grew up in Florida and joined the Navy in May 2016. While stationed in Texas she walked into her first line dance class — and she hasn't stopped dancing since. She served seven years, separated in September 2022, and moved to Hawaii shortly after. Today she's earning her BA in Psychology at UH West Oahu, with plans to pursue a Master's in Sports Psychology.
After ten years of line dancing and five years of teaching it, Sara has built a reputation for patience and clarity — she breaks steps down in detail so everyone can follow.
Her passion for fitness and health comes through in every class — low-pressure, genuinely fun, and a real workout that doesn't feel like one. That's what drives her at The Beat District: getting more of the community out on the floor and showing them how fun, healthy, and easy line dancing can be.
